There aren't enough adjectives to suffice describing Will Porter. This Flint native, with quirky hair, strong posture, and an even stronger attention to detail.  He has redefined limitless, and been an indication that everything is truly possible once you adhere to your truth. The twenty-eight year old powerhouse has manifested his experience into a series of mediums that cannot easily be consumed. Between "killing canvas," writing over boom-bat beats, Will has managed to create this two hundred and sixteen page written visual to expound upon his life lessons, and the ultimate embodiment of color.

"All I See Is Color, Not Enough Light," by Will Porter is as much an autobiography as it is a self help book for men and women alike.  With each chapter being represented by a  color, there is a broad spectrum of pain and healing. As Will comes to terms with his experience, we are along for each turn in this ride to self actualization and growth.

If telling your truth can save a life, this book has saved many.

On July 3rd we convened for Will Porter’s “All I See Is Color, Not Enough Light” book release. This event created a “brave space” for victorians of traumas to discuss solutions to generational curses. His book was a portal to the past and the beginning of a better future for us all. Along side cohost Brother Diamond, Will Porter’s construction of cold readings and performance gave time to for the audience to digest the heaviness of some chapters. The raw, interpersonal communication gave reader's space to develop deep understanding of their journey as it pertains to others.

As we unpacked, laughed, and shared stories we placed a name to each emotion we encountered. The event served as much needed therapy session. With added intermissions, the audience was able to bare witness to the art Will shared to match each color on the spectrum. The audience stayed engaged while brought from the "Colors to the Light." With a DJ present we celebrated the release of his baggage as well as our own.
