Summertime DIY Hair Masks

Summertime DIY Hair Masks

What do you want out of your deep conditioner? Before you whip your mixture together you should have a goal in mind. This is because different oils and foods have a variety of purposes. YES, I SAID FOODS! Fruits and vegetables are good to your body inside and out, so what you put in your body can also have some topical benefits.

SHINE & SOFTNESS

What you’ll need

  • 2 Tablespoons of Honey

  • 2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon of Avocado Oil

  • 1/4-1/2 Cup of Conditioner of your choice

Mix the ingredients together in a blender to get the consistency as smooth as possible. YOU DON’T WANNA END UP WITH CHUNKS OF BANANA STUCK IN YOUR HAIR. Your conditioner of choice should be something that has a slip to it so applying the conditioner to every strand will be easier. After applying the conditioner, you can put on a plastic cap to ensure the conditioner really penetrates the hair. Leave it in for 20-30 minutes and then rinse your hair thoroughly.
