MELANIN MONDAY : GRIND TIME

In a city where hustle burst through our pours, we take the weekends pretty seriously! Whether a hard week at work, life giving you lemons, or mercury retrograde on your back, we are constantly looking for new spaces, to vibe, turn up, and have a great time. I'm not much into the hype. But I am into seeing artist leaving it all on stage.

December 10th, was one of the wildest nights on my life. High off the energy flowing in the room, THE NYC GRIND packed over 600 New Yorkers Into the Court Square Studio/ Warehouse space! To see that many people swag surfing was ABSOLUTELY BANANAS! These women have single-handedly catalyzed New York City art scene with this rare treat.

The Grind is a place where the audience looses themselves in the room, and finds themselves enchanted by performers. From TRUTHCITY, to SKUUTA D'RULA,to Nuu Knynez, to Black Diamond Mafia DANCERS, and many more The Grind is a revolving door of talent.

Founded by Safiel Vonay , and curated by See Santana, the NYC GRIND, is a network of hundreds of artist. Created in Queens New York. The NYC Grind takes the city by storm, with over the top events and excellent production. Whether a rapper, singer, band, dancer, painter, the GRIND has room for you.
