THE GRACE OF FLAMES

THE GRACE OF FLAMES

Burned to smithereens every man I've ever touched
and upon those sad fragments ive mustered up the love to clutch
And so console as I cajoled
And burned and burrowed countless holes
Into the soul of a boy made old
By the grace of flames.

Nameless shame to tame the ego
Cause I want that heart wild
With the deepthroat
You go deep though
And sometimes he say he need a drink.
He need water
He need wine
I see him at the sink
He's crying
Cue that deep juice of emotion
That I take in a mug,
warm,
pinch of salt
Cut the sweet
Cut the machismo, non discreet
Show me your dark side
Your yin in sheets
In streets
Inside
No police
Don't beat yourself up baby.
That black is not meant to go with blue unless you be ocean,
Swimming freely without care for the grace of your limbs lazing in seawater siesta
Your body seasoning,
In the broth of things dead and no longer afraid to be themselves
I kill you so you can live anew
Don't you be afraid to move
those limbs and lunge for the stove.
Tell me I'm impatient
Smirk while you're igniting transmutation on my flaws,
Fill my skin with soot, no shame
Even though I cower at the shock of my own heat,
(When you the devil you don't expect karma to be so indiscreet)
When he
Tells me he's tired of my bullshit it really shocks me
Cause most other niggas just picked their shit up to leave.
Left me cold.
Playing with a flame in my hand
as he filled the empty space in my bed with a fan,
Fucking with my memories
What a beautiful man
Whisper temporary things
Of dead promises like wish bracelets that never seem to break
Like a vegan eating steak
I've made some bad choices.
Fooled myself into believing my own fuckery
And lavender lit, I review the stings
But there's no real use in crying
Over the spilled tears of men
